Oh hi there.
It’s been awhile between posts, so I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. Life has been a little crazy busy lately. But I really do hope I’ll find some time and share the last part of our holiday for you soon. So watch this space.

July started with a cute little visitor – my nephew, Zac. I caught up on many cuddles and play time with cars and trucks | July really was all about hibernating from the icy winter winds. Snoozing in the sunshine (when there was some) and cosy sunday sleep ins was a must | But we did get out and about to spot some new street art in the city by Steen Jones. Visited our old favourite Soldier On for a coffee and a read of volume three of SPACES magazine and drinks after work at Fatto Bar.
June: Winter well and truly arrived in the first week with a chilly week of 13 degrees. So we did what was natural and found an open fire at Reunion & Co in Richmond and planned holiday to get out of here | We warmed our feet in the sun and warmed our bellies with Apple crumble | A sunny day spent checking out The Refugee | Watching the people traffic (and the footy) at Etihad Stadium | Loving the luminous night sky on the way home from work | Breaking in my first ever pair of cons | And a quick trip to warm sunny Sydney to see Japanese artist Tomokazu Matsuyama at MCA create an entire exhibition from a laptop for Toshiba’s Made in 17 hours.

Oh boy, here we go again. I’m bracing myself for another winter here in Melbourne. The forecast for this week is a maximum of 13 degrees with rain and hail. Sigh.
Dear Melbourne, please be kind to this sunshine loving beach person.

Lately: Strolling Sydney Road for a spot of shopping, finally visiting Brunswick’s Mr Kitly, squeezing in a sweet afternoon slice at Green Refectory, Saturday breakie at Dench Bakers, Good Times in Fitzroy North, and generally exploring all the goodies of the north side of town.
