We’ve come to accept that there’s no beach in Melbourne like a Perth beach, so we’re learning to love what we have available. And I think we finally found a beach (or bay) that we are more than happy to spend the evening at after work. Meet the beautiful Half Moon Bay.
Spending a lot of time walking down this long beautiful pathway to a beautiful little beach. More photos tomorrow, for now I’m off to bed with sea salt in my hair. Ah summer, you’ve been good to us this year.
Just before Christmas we took a quick peek into the People’s Market in Collingwood. The summertime market is open from Thursday – Sunday until April 2013. I might have to go back soon and get another Phat Brat and a Chinotto before this nice weather runs out.
We have been living in Melbourne for almost 3 years, and really feel at home here now. I have moments were I tend to forget or more like, take for granted how special this city is. Its nights like Friday that come along to remind me why we moved here.
Earlier in the week I had read about The Shadow Electric – an open-air cinema located in the historic grounds at the Abbotsford Convent. As I’ve discovered before in Melbourne, tickets sell out fast, so I quickly grabbed tickets online.
