Since we’ve got back from our US holiday, I’ve been procrastinating on how to begin this blog post, let alone go through the hundreds of photos impatiently waiting on my hard drive. But after a few months of getting back into reality, I’m finally ready to share.
First up – Los Angeles. After an epic 16 hour flight from Australia with our friends Jess and Ryan, we arrived at our two storey Silver Lake Airbnb greeted by our friendly hosts. The sunny back lawn (perfect for an afternoon gin and tonic), Spanish villa architecture and badminton court were some of our favourite features. Not to mention the awesome pop up coffee shop, Go Get Em Tiger just a short stroll down the road.
Here are some of our top picks of places we visited in LA:
Well, hello. It’s been awhile! I am back from THE best holiday I’ve had in a very long time. I have lots of photos of my adventures to share, but until i sort through them all, here’s a peek of what’s been happening over the past couple of months on my instagram.

I’ll be taking a little break from Sunday best while I’m on holiday. Whilst I’m away you can follow my US adventures via Instagram.
See you soon.
July started with a cute little visitor – my nephew, Zac. I caught up on many cuddles and play time with cars and trucks | July really was all about hibernating from the icy winter winds. Snoozing in the sunshine (when there was some) and cosy sunday sleep ins was a must | But we did get out and about to spot some new street art in the city by Steen Jones. Visited our old favourite Soldier On for a coffee and a read of volume three of SPACES magazine and drinks after work at Fatto Bar.
I am loving the recent work of Melbourne based watercolour artist Dawn Tan. These Fruity Furoshiki wraps are a fun, one of a kind way for wrapping presents. They are available in two sizes, mini and large and come in many vibrant fruit patterns. I really can’t pick a favourite – I think they are all pretty awesome!
