Couldn’t help but to sing this chirpy little song when I found this font for today. Ride My Bike is a fun handmade typeface designed by Guisela Mendoza. The pro version features leading characters, terminals, alternate characters and ligatures. This version also contains more than 600 glyphs and 91 dingbats. Ride my bike is currently on sale, so get onto to it!
I must confess, I find myself buying cookbooks and only looking at the photos, forgetting about the book and then realising some years later that i’d never cooked one single recipe. Even as a kid, I’d rarely actually read the book, I just lose myself in the pretty pictures.
I found a lovely free font for today, aptly named ‘Sunday Type’ it’s created by Austrian graphic designer and illustrator Verena Michelitsch. She has spent some time in New York working at Sagmeister Inc and Pentagram Design (lucky thing!)
You can download ‘Sunday Type’ here.
Today I’m excited to finally reveal the project we’ve been working and one that I’ve talked about on my blog here and here. Over a couple of weekends in Ballarat, we worked with Rohan from a Whole Larder Love and Smith Journal to capture the build of Rohan’s log cabin smokehouse. It has been an amazing project to film and to watch develop over each weekend we visited. Rohan is truly an inspiring man. More about it here and here.
