I can’t believe today’s font Glaser Stencil was designed 40 years ago! It’s still seems such a modern bold font today as it probably was when it was originally created in 1970 by the amazing graphic designer Milton Glaser. Now owned by photo lettering and brought back to life by the German type masters, URW.
P.s Glaser stencil is 25% off at the moment at youworkforthem.com Yay!
Couldn’t help but to sing this chirpy little song when I found this font for today. Ride My Bike is a fun handmade typeface designed by Guisela Mendoza. The pro version features leading characters, terminals, alternate characters and ligatures. This version also contains more than 600 glyphs and 91 dingbats. Ride my bike is currently on sale, so get onto to it!
Happy Friday! Today’s selection for font friday is Shelby, a monoline, semi-connected script typeface based on hand lettering. For me DIN has always been my go-to typeface. The simple, legible typeface is up there with Helvetica and I have always found that it just works. PF DIN Stencil introduces additional pleasing characteristics to the original typeface. Find it here on You Work For Them website.
You may have noticed today that I’ve changed Sunday Best logo. I wanted to design a new logo once a month as a way to discover new typefaces and expand my font library. As well as a new monthly logo, I’ll also share with you a new typeface every friday.
I love the geometric shapes, hand drawn lines and playfulness of this month’s typeface Skute Pro.
It’s not a typical system font, but comes in an eps format which has a couple of variations of the font to play with.
