Re‘s work for Bare Witness has been chosen for a few awards for animation, illustration for design and branding for small business. And well deserved I say! I absolutely love their colours, clean packaging and stationery design along with Chris Delorenzo’s playful illustrations. Those coffee cups especially are by far some of the prettiest cups I’ve seen!

Ah packaging…it sucks me in every time when I’m out and about (or on Pinterest). What always seems to catch my eye is solid blocks of bright colour contrasted with foiling, good use of typography, fun illustration, pastel contrasts and surprise pops of colour inside boxes.
Photographer Henry Hargreaves has collected and photographed coffee cups from his travels around the world. Featuring wrap around illustrations, cropped and stamped-on logos, Hargreaves work is an interesting look at the art of the seemingly disposable coffee cup.

A simple clean re-design for Rotterdam’s Gimsel Supermarket, designed by local studio, Studio Beige. I love how the design reflects the supermarkets organic brand with it’s muted tones and fresh natural colour palette.
