Last but certainly not least on our amazing holiday was Brooklyn, New York! Landing late from Canada we arrived at our Williamsburg Airbnb to be reunited with our excited travel buddies Jess and Ryan. Equally excited we could not wait to explore our super cool borough of Brooklyn.

When I was in New York in September this year, I was delighted to discover Wayne Thiebaud‘s artwork at the¬†Whitney muesum. I love he’s use of bright colours for highlights and thick paint strokes that look like delicious layers of icing. I couldn’t resist buying this print of pie encounter for my kitchen.
