Well hello and Happy 2018!
Last weekend I visited the much talked about (and Instagrammed) Intermission Project at the Collingwood Arts Precinct. The project showcases over 35 artists who had the freedom to decorate walls, floors and stairwells of the 3 floor vacant Collingwood Technical School.

Currently open at 35 Johnson Street Collingwood and runs until this Sunday, January 21st.
Last Sunday we wandered the streets of Collingwood and discovered Fintan Magee’s new mural ‘The Refugee’. This absolutely huge mural is situated on the side of the very cool five level End to End building on Easey Street, Collingwood, Melbourne.
What a glorious start to the weekend. Today has not only been a warm sunny day, but also offered a sweet and sugary start to the morning. We got up early and headed over to the Flour Market in Collingwood where some of Melbourne’s best bakeries joined together to treat us to their specialty goodies of breads, croissants, cakes, cookies, brownies, doughnuts, bagels and pies.
Yay for the weekend, spring and sugar!
Just before Christmas we took a quick peek into the People’s Market in Collingwood. The summertime market is open from Thursday – Sunday until April 2013. I might have to go back soon and get another Phat Brat and a Chinotto before this nice weather runs out.
