When I was in New York in September this year, I was delighted to discover Wayne Thiebaud‘s artwork at the Whitney muesum. I love he’s use of bright colours for highlights and thick paint strokes that look like delicious layers of icing. I couldn’t resist buying this print of pie encounter for my kitchen.
