I’ve been a big fan of Herriott Grace on flickr for sometime now. I loved her impeccable food styling, cute cloud cookies, signature style cake flags and her fathers beautiful wooden objects. It was lovely to find out more about their story in this beautifully shot short trailer.
I’m one of those people that collects magazines and books just for their pictures, often without really reading the contents. I love to indulge in layout, typography and gloriously rich photography. This is especially so when it comes to cook books. Amongst many favourite cookbooks spread around the house (in piles), Donna Hay has been a long time favourite. Donna’s easy recipes and scrumptious pictures always inspire me to cook.
Typography Served is one of a network of category-specific Served sites that showcase the best projects on the Behance Network, offering work even more exposure. I was pleased to find out last week that my Lubalin cookie project I did for my Shillington Masterclass, was featured on such a site. I couldn’t be anymore chuffed and proud.
Only seems fitting that at the same time, a new book is to be released about the life of Herb Lubalin called – American Graphic Designer. More here on the wonderful The Fox is Black
