Well hello and Happy 2018!
Last weekend I visited the much talked about (and Instagrammed) Intermission Project at the Collingwood Arts Precinct. The project showcases over 35 artists who had the freedom to decorate walls, floors and stairwells of the 3 floor vacant Collingwood Technical School.
Read more about the Intermission Project via The Design Files.
Currently open at 35 Johnson Street Collingwood and runs until this Sunday, January 21st.
Oh my gosh, if you are a fan of beautiful photography, colour and Wes Anderson, you’re going to want to follow this Instagram feed.
It features the best in daily Wes Anderson content from the Subreddit, (where it all originally started) and provides fascinating info about each location photographed by various photographers.
I found it super hard to choose only a few photos for this post so check out more here at @accidentallywesanderson
Recently the 2017 AGDA Design Award finalists were announced and there was plenty to feast your eyes on. But Sydney agency Re was certainly a standout for me for their Bare Witness cafe branding.
Re‘s work for Bare Witness has been chosen for a few awards for animation, illustration for design and branding for small business. And well deserved I say! I absolutely love their colours, clean packaging and stationery design along with Chris Delorenzo’s playful illustrations. Those coffee cups especially are by far some of the prettiest cups I’ve seen!
Be sure to check out more of Re’s awesome work here and more amazing work from AGDA Design Award finalists here.
If you followed this blog for a while, you probably already know that I’m a big fan of illustrations. So, it’s no surprise that I love seeing illustrations come to life! Here’s a little collection of fun and mesmerizing gifs from some very talented ladies. You can find more over on my Gif board. Pinners, you can follow me here

Gosh, I really miss this blog! Time to get back to it, and what good timing.
This week we celebrated seven years living in the world’s most liveable city! Looking back through old photos always puts a smile on my face, but especially so for our time in Melbourne.
Our biggest highlight this year was cementing ourselves firmly in Melbourne by purchasing our first home and adding our little buddy Milton. Melbourne, we truly love you. A lot.
Here are some snippets of some our fun times from the past few years.
P.s In looking back, I discovered that I stopped posting about our Melbourne anniversary at four! (clearly having too much fun). So a few of these photos are from the last few years.
