This time last week, we made a last minute decision to head out of Melbourne to The Great Ocean Road for a bit of R&R long weekend. We stayed in a luxury tent at Pebble Point bush retreat, nestled behind the 12 Apostles in small coastal village of Princetown, approximately two and a half hours from Melbourne.
We visited the stunning Otway Fly Treetop Walk, did a spot of bush walking near Pebble Point and saw the amazing 12 Apostles at sunrise.
Just taking a short break, be back soon.
I have some very fond memories of living in Indonesia as a child. The balmy evenings, lush green surroundings, the spicy smells, roosters that wake you in the morning, and not to mention the friendly, gorgeous smiling Indonesians. I was instantly bought back to these memories as my husband Mark and I stepped off the plane in Bali last week.
We’ve come to accept that there’s no beach in Melbourne like a Perth beach, so we’re learning to love what we have available. And I think we finally found a beach (or bay) that we are more than happy to spend the evening at after work. Meet the beautiful Half Moon Bay.
Ok, so I must confess, I haven’t been the best blogger of late. I have a thousands excuses and (probably) valid reasons why I haven’t been around here much of late, but let’s just start fresh on the first day of 2013 shall we?
We just came back from a blissful, yet utterly scorching week in Perth over the Christmas week. I can’t say it enough how much I miss the beaches of my hometown.
