Two years ago Mark and I flew into Melbourne on a freezing, dark, cold night. We had come from Perth where it was full swing into spring. Weary from weeks of packing and planning for our move we dragged our heavy luggage out of the airport only to be greeted by an icy wind. I remember thinking, ‘What are we doing?!’ Back then, I would have never thought 2 years on we would still be here. You see, we are beach people, sun seekers,
We met with again with Rohan today and of course the cute Mr Henry at their beautiful home in Ballarat. It’s exciting to see this project taking shape now. More to come next Sunday!
Firstly, appologies I’ve had a fairly busy week with little time to update this blog. This weekend couldn’t have come quick enough!
Besides the crazy tiring week, it’s actually been good to be busy with part time and freelance work, providing of course there’s time for a weekend sleep in followed by a coffee in the sun to recharge the batteries.
How do you wind down from a busy week?

We took a short drive today to the picturesque Ballarat to meet with food blogger and hunter gatherer Rohan Anderson for a small project we are working on. I can’t tell you too much about the project just yet, but it was lovely to meet Rohan and his family and especially his 12 week old english pointer, Henry.
Typography Served is one of a network of category-specific Served sites that showcase the best projects on the Behance Network, offering work even more exposure. I was pleased to find out last week that my Lubalin cookie project I did for my Shillington Masterclass, was featured on such a site. I couldn’t be anymore chuffed and proud.
Only seems fitting that at the same time, a new book is to be released about the life of Herb Lubalin called – American Graphic Designer. More here on the wonderful The Fox is Black
