In this great featurette we learn how Wes Anderson drew inspiration for The Grand Budapest Hotel from a number of opulent hotels across Europe and America. So very interesting and inspiring to see the work that goes into this movie.
Film: Tracks
‘Wow’ was all I could seem to utter after walking out from the Australian film, Tracks.

Elopement in the Woods
This private elopement of Nick and Laura in Cascade Mountains east of Seattle absolutely took my breath away when I first saw it posted on one of my favourite blogs, Hither & Thither.
What I love so much about this elopement is firstly her dress, the emotion on his face when he sees her, the spectacular woods and mountains, the fact that it just starts to rain when they get to the top of the mountain for photos and most of all the first minute of the film produced by Janssen Powers where you can hear Nick’s heart racing when they embrace.
Film: Made in Bhutan
Made in Bhutan is a beautifully shot short teaser by producer and director Hirondelle Chatelard. The teaser is a quick insight into the emergence of entrepreneurship in the small himalayan buddhist kingdom of Bhutan. The vibrant posters below are just as equally beautiful, designed by Jules Tardy.
